The Design
The crucifix is the visual centre of this logo. Its symbolic enormity is established in a few ways. First, the gradation of the rising-sun shape leads the eye to the cross. Then, the cross is the only shape with straight edges and stands out among all the curves. Finally, its white is strikingly powerful between all the dark values of violet and blue. This is a logo which derives power from the crucifix symbol by giving power to it.
