Paul Syng’s Eccentric Works-of-art
Toronto based designer Paul Syng’s work focuses on the explicit, told inexplicitly. He makes use of bare elements and you would almost never see any of his works having more than three or four elements. He even manages to use something unwanted like noise, to make his designs human. Sharp contrasting colours are part of his style. Bright greens, dark violets, alarming reds, blasting out the screen, but still harmonious. In his collages, heavy imagery is assisted by a word or two in heavy type, sometimes even a letter.
You could spend hours staring at his designs, making out something new every minute. That’s how abstract yet explicit Paul Syng’s designs are.
Here we’ve curated some of his best works for you. Enjoy!
